Eventually they may come to a time while in the nightmare stage of "wishful thinking" that they see through their delusion and no longer claims to be this Faithful and Discreet Slave malarkey thingy.
Or they simply hang on to this that Watchtower Corporation is God's earthly organization doo doo till they go belly up. Hard to say, but, the end of what once was has happened to this creepy organization and it is all down hill from here.

I feel the WT corporation has reached its point of no return during the first decade of internet existence and that the WT's dishonest published figures of growth were an attempt to keep the downward spiral from its members alerting them to the Organization's demise from erroneous end of the world predictions.
So that any graphs that one can make from the WT corporation publish figures should be enclosed with the caution that: "these figures are very biased from a cult with a proven high degree of denial and outright delusional falsehoods bias, and are probably a lot worse then they will admit to".
Which I think explains why the Kingdom Hells are being sold like hot cakes while the societies figures don't show that much negative growth. They are stuck in denial and cherry pick made up facts to forecast future events. Not very good for making solidly business plans for the corporations future survival. All this mental fog for guiding how asset are to be used, not very wise.

As the world becomes more informed and the internet becomes a household tool through out the world, it spells real trouble for a delusional printing corporation to make a profit even with slave labor from indoctrinated uneducated drones.
Since they forbid getting a decent education to rank and file members, contributions are way down because you can't squeeze blood from a stone or the fact that most loyal die hard JWs don't even earn much more above poverty level and so have very little money for the most part.
Downsize like fucking crazy seems to be the Watchtower Corporation's MO presently. Attendance is way down, so that they can start merging different congregations and selling Kingdom Halls and send the proceeds to the WT bank account.
Sell Sell Sell! property make an all out effort to make better indoctrination videos that can be downloaded to the rank and file's computers that will keep them entertained while swallowing the WT corp. propaganda about being close to the end of the world and the need to Listen Obey and be Blessed by God's earthly organization made up of the Governing Body who is the faithful and discreet slave of God (which ironically makes them masters).
Hell they can be whittled down to a website operated by the Governing Body and Governing Body helpers with a low budget recording studio (where everybody cooks and cleans for themselves no maid service) for making downloadable propaganda for the swiftly dwindling Great Crowd of Armageddon survivors that are keeping on the watch so as to be ready for the master's arrival right on time(when ever that is?).
In what 10 or 20 years? Maybe these things have a tendency to pick up the pace once one has reached the point of no return.

I'm thinking the WT corporation will 'encourage' the loyal die hard followers to just download the monthly specials and have them just fold and staple them neatly to offer to the public for free.

Looks like they are extricating themselves from the printing bull shit business. Hey why print when you can download for free,, the same bullshit, saving many many trees, not to mention sell factory properties and down size stalling for time before the cash runs out, figuring out new ways to dupe the credulous and maybe turn a profit$$ every so often.
This is phase out step one, sell factories lay off all slave labor except the bare bones neccesarry to look after property until sold, then as no longer needed get rid of excess baggage until it is just an internet organization praying on the hard core gullible and rare occasional convert.
As long as they got a web site where they can make request for contributions and a substantial group of die hard loyalist they can keep publishing the Good News for many more decades but always with less and less profitability,, no more steady increases in the gullible ranks and files, like their ignorance is bliss hay days before the internet.

September 7, 2017 Re: Donations for Disaster Relief Work
by wifibandit inseptember 7, 2017 to all congregations in the united states branch territory re: donations for disaster relief work.

I think this call for donations to help fund disaster relief might be used to investigate the WT corporation charity status as a legitimate charity and may open them up to a proper investigation.
What if all the funds are used to repair the WT's holdings. Would this not be construed a fraud to avoid taxes on profits?

Prayers ,are they answered ? or is it just self delusion ?
by smiddy3 inafter 33 years as a jw and leaving 25 years ago i think prayer can be summed up with the jews praying at the wailing wall.. all they are doing is talking to a brick wall ,and getting no feed back.
and they expect an answer to their prayers ?!.
christians /other beliefs might find that funny but they are no better off.. prayer is always a one way street you talk either vocally or mentally to god however you never get the same back .. if god " so loved the world that he doesnt want any to be destroyed but have everlasting life " then whats the problem with him audibly answering his servants prayers ?

Answers of prayers to God, are confirmed only by 'cherry picking' the facts and then using tremendous 'leaps in logic'.
Look at all the reasons people give for believing or felt their prayers were answered by the Deity of choice. These reasons usually have a strong emotional tug and so are very subjective in nature as well as very biased based on religious conditioning/indoctrination.
So I would definitely conclude that it is definitely just 'self delusion' based on religious conditioning.
Now Synchronicity on the other hand well that is a different related subjects that I'm still trying to work out.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Synchronicity
Synchronicity (German: Synchronizität) is a concept, first introduced by analytical psychologist Carl Jung, which holds that events are "meaningful coincidences" if they occur with no causal relationship yet seem to be meaningfully related.[1] During his career, Jung furnished several slightly different definitions of it.[2] Jung variously defined synchronicity as an "acausal connecting (togetherness) principle," "meaningful coincidence", and "acausal parallelism." He introduced the concept as early as the 1920s but gave a full statement of it only in 1951 in an Eranos lecture.[3]
In 1952 Jung published a paper "Synchronizität als ein Prinzip akausaler Zusammenhänge" (Synchronicity – An Acausal Connecting Principle)[4] in a volume which also contained a related study by the physicist and Nobel laureate Wolfgang Pauli,[5] who was sometimes critical of Jung's ideas.[6] Jung's belief was that, just as events may be connected by causality, they may also be connected by meaning. Events connected by meaning need not have an explanation in terms of causality, which does not generally contradict the Axiom of Causality.
In the introduction to his book, Jung on Synchronicity and the Paranormal, Roderick Main wrote:[7]
The culmination of Jung's lifelong engagement with the paranormal is his theory of synchronicity, the view that the structure of reality includes a principle of acausal connection which manifests itself most conspicuously in the form of meaningful coincidences. Difficult, flawed, prone to misrepresentation, this theory none the less remains one of the most suggestive attempts yet made to bring the paranormal within the bounds of intelligibility. It has been found relevant by psychotherapists, parapsychologists, researchers of spiritual experience and a growing number of non-specialists. Indeed, Jung's writings in this area form an excellent general introduction to the whole field of the paranormal.
In his book Synchronicity: An Acausal Connecting Principle, Jung wrote:[9]
...it is impossible, with our present resources, to explain ESP, or the fact of meaningful coincidence, as a phenomenon of energy. This makes an end of the causal explanation as well, for "effect" cannot be understood as anything except a phenomenon of energy. Therefore it cannot be a question of cause and effect, but of a falling together in time, a kind of simultaneity. Because of this quality of simultaneity, I have picked on the term "synchronicity" to designate a hypothetical factor equal in rank to causality as a principle of explanation.
Synchronicity was a principle which, Jung felt, gave conclusive evidence for his concepts of archetypes and the collective unconscious.[10] It described a governing dynamic which underlies the whole of human experience and history — social, emotional, psychological, and spiritual. The emergence of the synchronistic paradigm was a significant move away from Cartesian dualism towards an underlying philosophy of double-aspect theory. It has been argued that this shift was essential to bringing theoretical coherence to Jung's earlier work.[11][12]

by pale.emperor inhttps://www.jw.org/en/publications/magazines/watchtower-study-july-2017/propaganda-winning-battle-for-your-mind/.
in what is just the height of irony, watchtower warns us about propaganda, and accepting everything we hear/read.
yes, we should ignore those that try to stop us thinking critically as this watchtower article will now teach us.

I think this is a good place for a video about the king of propaganda Freud's double nephew who learned well from his double uncle:
This is a not very flattering video:
